We've been shortlisted! Starting the New Year with a bang...
We're excited to finally be able to announce that our Directors Natalie Jackson and Emily Freeman have been shortlisted for a Northern Power Women Award for Innovation. In fact, Nat and Em are the only Yorkshire-based names among the 8 individuals and organisations shortlisted in the "Innovation" category.
The Northern Power Women Awards sponsored by EY celebrate the women and men who work towards creating gender balance in organisations and who passionately support equality across the North. This year’s awards are the fifth annual Northern Power Awards, and received a total of over 1480 nominations, a 55% increase on last year. 65 Judges make up the panels of decision makers, with 81 individuals and organisations shortlisted across 10 award categories.
Totally Runable's Natalie Jackson, speaking following announcement of the shortlists this week, said “What a great start to 2020 to be nominated for such a prestigious organisation. The others shortlisted are all based in either the North East or North West, so we’re really pleased to be flying the flag for Barnsley and the whole of Yorkshire!"
Winners will be announced at the Northern Power Women’s annual gala awards night and dinner in Manchester on 16th March.
